Born in 1946 in Australia, Stan has had a background in construction from an early age. His grandfather and father were well known developers and Stan carried on this tradition in construction.

With the introduction of improved building methods in 1968, Stan became one of the first developers to use an onsite method of precast panel for warehousing with the system now known as Tilt-up concrete. In 1976 Stan was introduced to Post Tensioning of Concrete for flat slab construction.

After many years Stan has been involved in construction systems, covering structural steel fabrication, marine pipe line installation and inventing submersible dredging systems to excavate and lay pipelines on the sea bed.

In 1995 after a long association with Austress Stan established a joint venture with Austress Freyssinet to promote the Flat slab post tensioning system in the United Arab Emirates & Qatar to accommodate the booming Construction market.

Now located in Doha-Qatar, Stan has for the last three years been promoting the Post Tensioning system with Qatar Australian Construction Systems WLL (known as QACS). Stan is still promoting Australian technology to the construction industry in Qatar utilizing the vast knowledge & experience he has gained over the last 40 years.

Many completed developments in the UAE and Qatar have benefited from Stan’s experience as he continues to support commercially viable & safer technique’s for Construction.
